Subject description: How to quantise launch to bar AND reset to beginning??

Hi all
In the attached patch, I am trying to:
1) launch a sequence using a footpedal (I'm just using a damper pedal plugged into the sustain pedal input on the back of the G2 - does the trick)
2) quantise the start and stop of the sequence to the beginning of the next bar, much like launching clips in Live (using the sync output from the clock module)
3) reset the sequence each time you start it so that it starts from the beginning (the first sequence block), again quantised to the start of the next bar.

So...I've succeeded with 1 and 2, but I cannot work out how to use the park, reset, loop inputs etc. to make the sequence restart each time.
I'm using a flip flop controlled by the foot pedal to control the on off and a T/H module that controls a switch to quantise it.

Any tips anyone?
I've tried various combinations of hooking up the sust. pedal to the park input on the second sequencer etc. but can't seem to work it out.
Cheers
Angus

I'm not sure I understand what you mean exactly, would http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-3140.html give any hints ?

Hi Jan
Yeah - been a funny year, too many distractions, too little time to work on new material and therefore new patches. And I'm one of those people who spends a few months doing nothing but playing piano, or a few months just on guitar etc. We played a support gig for Marillion the other day and now I'm all keen to get my synth stuff back up to speed again.
I'm not at by my G2 right now, but I think I have the solution (which might be to "park" the sequencer modules using the sync output from the clock module - I just want the whole sequence to start from the beginning again each time I restart it but those reset and park inputs on the sequencer modules didn't behave quite how I expected...I'll post the revised patch when I work it out.
Glad to see you're still dishing out the good ideas and advice on the forum though.
Angus

This seems to do the trick...
The "sync every" output on the clock acts as a quantisation control for launching the loop.

[just updated the attachment - there was a mistake (one of the T&H modules patched the wrong way around]

[updated again - I added a T&H module between the pitch output of the sequencers and the pitch input of the osc to stop the sequence playing the keyboard note when it parks at the end of a bar. Keyboard module just added so I can play it on the demo (at work with my earphones on pretending to be busy!)]
