It's not that complex...

Use the Note seq.pch2
 Description:
Stupid simple sequencer plays twinkle twinkle little star, connect the Korg to the NM's midi out (or route through your computer) and load up the piano patch you like - make sure it's on midi channel 1. Alternatively you could do chords by having multiple

Just make a copy of the sequencer part, one for each additional note, then tweak that copy for the notes it should play.

Im understanding how to build the chord notes i want (in the actual note seq) but was wondering how to hook all the patch chords up to the various modules in order to get this type of application to work.

Thanks

Ben

Well you can have multiple midi out modules going ot the same channel you know. You can't send chords out through a note module as you'd have overlapping gate signals, so just set up 3 or 4 of them (as many as you have sequencers) and point them at the same MIDI channel. They use very little DSP so don't worry about that.

You might find it worth your while to experiment with the various level mixers and so on, to make things like chord patches that let you play 1 key on the g2 and output a chord etc. A good study method is to pick 1 module (like the Note Send module) and see how many different things you can do with it.

For example, take the Note Send note module, and put a Note Quant module in front of the note input (this restricts you to a certain set of notes and a keyboard range). Then plug an LFO into the input of the note quant. Or experiment with a square wave LFO going into the trigger input, see just how fast you can push those MIDI notes out before it goes all weird (and is it interesting when it does go weird?). Experimenting is much the best way to learn.

Be patient...it takes a long time to learn all you can do.
