As time goes by Subject description: on the road for a nice CS80, project in progress |

Well, the CS80 sounds are very nice, so i tried to implement as many parameters as i could (including a part of the modulation selector)
Of course, the knob A1-1 is most important: it morphs between the two oscillators.
All remarks and suggestions for improvement are very wellcome!
(i am still a beginner, but since i tried the G2 i brought it back to the shop to go for the G2X... and i am glad that i did so, already for the sake of polyphony and the more comfortable keybed.)
Thanks to all the other programmers! i had a marvelous time exploring thunderstorms, insects, babybabbles etc! great forum!!!!!
PS there is a version 72.0 now, with the "spectrum tilter" for more analog effect, and some adjustments to diminish distortion, adjusted presets and aftertouch is now standard "on".

I never owned a CS80, but I have spent a little time playing on them. At one time in my life, I could have afforded one, but I could never lift it.
You have captured the overall effect of the sound quite well. To me the nicest thing about that synth was the aftertouch. I'm not sure what it actually did, but it made playing it a great experience. _________________ --Howard

Thank you Ian, (your patches are always incredible, i just discovered your experimental grain generator, wow!) thank you Howard.
I read some very interesting information on a site that repairs CS80's, and they desribed the aftertouch features. I will try to implement it in the "CS72" or so...
For the moment, you can patch in the selector (pages C1 and C2) the aftertouch to several parameters. It needs to be improved, that's sure.
