You have to record these on your computer using a Midi recording program, like a software sequencer. Or use a hardware sequencer.
Or use the NL Editor on http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/023_Miscellaneous/NordGenerator_Editor/
by sending and storing single Programs.
Don't forget to make a doc file containing all the Program names (like song names) if you want to use it again!!!

Maybe I understood you wrongly and is the question more like: I have Midi files which I want to upload to the synth.
I also use the NordGenerator Editor tool. Just drag&drop the Midi file in the program and all 99 sounds are available to download from your computer. Just scroll using Up&Down arrows to get another file to send to the synth. Press 'send' and you can play the sound, because it's loaded into the Buffer Memory. Try it out by playing, using the Wheel and Stick, activating the the Arpeggiator using the [Shift+Hold] so it plays itself...
Do you want the sound, just save it into the synths memory or card.
Continue trying all 99 sounds
Nice thing is you can see the settings of the synth in the Editor!

thanks for your reply Wout.
But there is a slight misunderstanding here.
i will try to explain it in more detail...
For example, there are 99 patches inside n2lib1b1.mid file. which is the Nord Lead 2 sound library 1, Program Bank 1.
On the other hand i have a folder called SOS-NordLeadII-SYSEX which includes loads of single .ngf and .syx patch files by by Sven Saur. I want to convert these single patch files (.ngf or .syx) into one.mid sound library file, which will have 99 single patches of my selection at the end. How can i do that?
And then i can transfer this custom made .mid sound library file into my nord rack 2 through a sequencer.
Thanks in advance. |

It's the same
Use the NordGenerator tool and connect the computer with the synth via Midi.
Take the *.mid file and drag&drop it on the NordGen tool. All the single Programs of that file are available! Use the cursor to have a Program in front, send it to the synth and play it as described above. If you like it save it. If you want to save it on the computer, open another run of the NordGen tool, which is set to receive. Press [Shift+Dump One] and the Patch counter is set to 1. Proceed until the Bank is 99 Programs big.
If needed, rename the file as *.mid
It's all just SysEx!
