My my... that noise thingie was in fact pretty great. It reminds me of some 70s avantgarde music. Very much in that style. I just downloaded that other one too, but I am not sure where that one went.. tomorrow.. I better get some sleep.

Blimey you're prolific! I think we've got another Redskull on our hands....
Army Of Nine is quite nice but a bit disappointing. I love those pitch bending notes you introduce at 1 minute, and the notes you put on top to turn them into chords when the kick comes back in. It sounds really really spooky - very effective. But the acid instrument, when it comes back in and on top of the chords, doesn't work well with them. I would have preferred to work with those chords, maybe stacking more notes on top so that they become really dense and dissonant. Chucking the acid instrument on top seems a bit like a cop out...
It's not that I don't think the tune is good - I do. It's just that in my opinion, you missed an opportunity to make it excellent. But I know I'm opinionated...
Hope that's of use.
The Vanillearoma thing is dead cool. Really angry, really noisy. This reminds me quite a lot of 'Hedphelym' by Aphex Twin. I love the thunder of the bass drums underneath everything, and the screaming noise. It just doesn't let you relax. This would be great music to play if you were doing something really evil!!
Arrangement-wise, I'm not quite sure about the way all the noisy stuff drops out around 2 minutes. It's almost like you're letting the listener off the hook for a bit instead of finishing the fucker off! I would find it more satisfying if you just kept on building the intensity up. But I really am splitting hairs now. Maybe I should go to bed. _________________ This message was brought to you from Beyond The Grave. |

Thanks for your extensive comment, dovdimus (who do you mean by Redskull btw? ).
I'll try out what you suggested, sounds good to me... cool you liked those pitch bending sounds... arpeggiators and gates are my passion
But at first, let's wait for the remix to arrive. I have no idea what he'll make of it. Hope it'll be finished soon
And for the noise thing... well... I don't know much about noise except it's noise (it was actually my first noise track) ... But my project Advanced Robotics will remain active... if I feel that desire for destruction again, I'm gonna make something more of it
Okay, I haven't been less productive the last few days, so watch out for my new highspeed track _________________ Download my music here! |

vanillearoma is really hardcore!
don't heard such a rough sound till 92. but its sound robotoic. a good relation to your artist name.
the beat is a bit flat.
all in all very strange. can't really relax to this tune. _________________ ego004 | ego003 | ego002 | ego001 |

Now that you have these posted, I can listen. I listened to both tracks, they are similar and different.
This reminds me of the modern classical minimalist composers like Phillip Glass. It's also pretty much like trance music. So, I tried to listen in a non-critical, non-judgemental mode where I just flowed along with the sound and let my mind run where ever. The big thumping beat in the second one seemed to push back and distrubed where I was, but then I just let go and tranced out again. _________________ --Howard
