Sorry dude, I don't Sad Maybe someone else here though?

One thing you can try (and you probably have) is babelfish http://babelfish.altavista.com/. You can translate from english to spanish, but I'm not sure how accurate the translation is.

Laughing I wote a letter to a friend in France and used that to translate to French. It looked neat to me. He wrote me back in English and made me promise never to do that again. Laughing

Yeah babelfish is very good as a poetry generator, at least when translating into dutch.

For newbies I would recommend books/tutorials that come with their own synthesizer for as long as there's no book on the G2 itself. The point is that you have to actually hear what what you're reading about. For that reason I don't recommend a NM tutorial for a G2 beginner, unless you have a NM, too.

A little pun here: how to recognize G2 experts? They recommend NM tutorials for G2 beginners. Don't trust them, they've forgotten how it feels Very Happy

Two books that I know of that come with their own instruments (so you can listen and try the same thing on your G2) are:

Peter Gorges: Synthesizer Programming, Wizoo

Uwe Hoenig: Workshop Synthesizer, ppvmedien.

The Gordes book is available in English, too, don't know about (and haven't read) the Hoenig book.

I really like the book by Peter Gordes for another reason: he not only explains basic synthesis but tries to develop your sound imagination, too, and how to build a sound that's in your imagination.

For people who are advanced (>1 1/2 years of experience Very Happy ) synthesists these books are probably a bore.

Edit:
my very own website for beginners: the G2-Toolbox.

http://g2.sebastianberweck.de

Edit again:
if you try to follow the NM workshops at Clavia's site, I've tried the same thing and you can find ca. 150 patches here:
http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-5699.html.
Mind you, I'm not saying these are the solutions, they're just my attempt.
