Acoustic Interloper

Attached are my two sets from electro-music 2011, with very much thanks to Paul Harriman (EdisonRex) for getting these to me so quickly when he has been so busy traveling around the US and retrieving ancient electro-music heirlooms from his past! thanks

These are both solo versions of the duets that Jeremy Parson and I performed four days earlier at the Kutztown University Planetarium. The instrument descriptions from that page apply also to my solo sets at EM2011.

Adam / Onewayness has already posted our four-person collaboration on Riley's In C over here.

The Db minor piece is actually in this scale, that I call Bridge Minor because of the two 3-semitones "arches" in the scale. I had been playing the scale and used it on the Passing Storm acoustic-banjo piece in 2005, rooted in G. Jeremy independently wrote a very haunting melody in 2010 -- we discovered during practice that they are against the same scale -- rooted in Db.
