(Insert album title here) Subject description: A collection of tracks from Uncle Krunkus |

Some of these tracks are quite old now. Their meaning and atmosphere is sometimes clouded to me, sometimes very clear.
There are still a few to finish, but I'm going to put up here what I've got, in the right order, and see what you think.
I'll try to organise a main link which will give you the whole album, but I'm not sure how to yet.
1) Introduction
Introduction has sat on the hard drive for years. It has always been just that,.... an introduction. I decided the other day that it should be more than that. It should be a complete track, all to itself.
2) Awakening
Awakening started as a noodle on acoustic guitar. Then I transfered it to keyboard while playing the old, out of tune, keys missing, piano which I found at the back of the kitchen in the Missenden psych ward RPA around 1993.
3) The Hand of a Clockwork Monk
Hand of a Clockwork Monk started off as a sequence I loaded into the Korg Poly800 back in 1986! It grew into a round which I overplayed with a simple melody. This is where I suddenly fell in love with melody. She's such an exsquisitly fickle mistress, .. ...
The image of the clockwork monk actually comes from my father, who would sit and write out the details of our upcoming holiday, by hand, with a pen, at the dining room table.
He had a widow's peak, a big smile, and a lack of emotion.
The mechanical sounds were recorded inside a step by step telephone exchange in Sefton, 1988 or so.
