Wow, you've really gone on the "deep" end with these...I think my ears are feeling "nauseated" for the first time ever! _________________ I'm an aspiring artist, and I also aspire to inspire! =D |

This started with the simple goal of plugging the Infinitphase clone I built into the modular (through the CGS60), just to have a play around.
I got a very neat organ sound initially in Navigating, but lost it while playing with settings... I guess this is why I need to develop a habit of hitting Record while messing around!
The Infinitphase was using the internal sequencer for the phase LFO, but it was a pretty simple wave. That's the swooshy thing you can hear in the back.
I'm not sure where the planet Neptune came into it! Maybe I was thinking of Phobos' Moon Base.

Was looking forward to hearing your unique take on the whole mess as you promised, but not any more. Sorry. Last edited by MusicMan11712 on Tue Nov 15, 2016 9:52 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Nah, it never gets above 0 dB, can't hurt the speakers.
What a mess!
But this mess has some nice acoustic qualities It sounds a bit like one big spun out onset of a huuuge reed instrument. _________________ Jan

It may not be as harmful to speakers as us folk wearing headphones, the volume was at 20% and my ears were still ringing! This "song" is like the wind...only the wind is cutting away at your face. XD _________________ I'm an aspiring artist, and I also aspire to inspire! =D |

No pun intended, but this one sounds awfully good...it's something about that delayed dropping phasing sound that reels me in. _________________ I'm an aspiring artist, and I also aspire to inspire! =D |

This last one was kind of awful, but not as ear-wrenching as some of your previous releases. This one is more on the quiet side....for 92 minutes(!!!) _________________ I'm an aspiring artist, and I also aspire to inspire! =D |

Well, it was one of those patches where it's hard to bring yourself to turn the synth off! (Or mess with it too much.) |

I've been dipping into these over the last few days and really like the sounds that are coming out - this is very much where my own head is at the moment.
I'll have to have a dig into my own little archive of awfulness - IIRC there's a couple of real headrippers lurking in there _________________ It may stop, but it never ends. |

Still did not find time to listen to the whole thing, but heard some fragments and liked those. So, will keep it on the todo list :-) _________________ Jan

Wound up having stuff added. |
I found the pattern in this one! At some points, it sounds like final boss theme music of the formerly popular Chrono Trigger (SNES) game, lol! This makes me wonder if SQUARE Inc. (the developer of the game) used this method to conjure up such a theme, hahaha! _________________ I'm an aspiring artist, and I also aspire to inspire! =D |
