MUSIC FOR FURNITURE (2015) (aka Vegetables in Space) was composed by Ebrahimian in the winter of 2015 to accompany Chinese designer Naihan Li's hydroponic vegetable-growing furniture, shown at an exhibition at West Bund in Shanghai, from November 2015 to January 2016. The design of the space was also loosely based on the 1972 film, Silent Running.

The music is loosely programmatic; it 'tells the story' of a seed being exposed to light and water, and growing into a massive colony. It was created using sounds generated from the Buchla 200-e series synthesizer at Stony Brook University Electronic Music Studio, as well as tape samples from composer Taylor Ackley, a frequent collaborator of Ebrahimian's.

One idea I have .. you could attach the track as an mp3 to a post here .. it might get played on our radio station then .. also .. when a thread gets some activity .. it tends .. I should not say this lol ... to get listened to more often .. guess that's the bubble thing .. I've no idea what could be done about that.
