Here is a Nord G2 variation on the Bouncing Ball effect discussed elsewhere. It does not use samples because us poor old G2 people have to synthesise everything from scratch (luckily, that's what I prefer to do anyway).
Basically, an incoming trigger from the keyboard kicks off a series of triggers, which also clock a binary counter/DAC combination, which is used to shorten the time between triggers. When the time 'decays' to shorter that the Min_ms pulse time, the triggering stops.
OK it's a little silly but fun to play.

BTW Howard, how do I put images in the body of the message?

Cool...

To put images in the body of a message the image must be uploaded to a web site. Then, just type in the URL of the image and use the IMG, LEFT, or RIGHT tags.

If you don't have a web site to upload images to, then you are stuck with doing what you did, attach the image with the attachment mechanism.

How do the BinCounter and DAConv modules work? The manual is not much use to the uninitiated. I can probably work out the rest if I understand how these modules funtion.

The binary counter is an emulation of a logic circuit. It counts in binary arithmetic. There is a bit for each binary "digit". Hook up an LFO to one and watch the lights (set the LFO at a slow frequency). You'll see an interesting side effect - each output is running at 1/2 the frequency of the previous one.

The DAC, digital to analog converter, takes in 8 inputs and puts out a singal that corresponds to the binary number of the inputs. If you put in the output of a binary counter, then the output of the DAC would be a ramp.

Great info and great effect, thanks a lot. This G2 thing sometimes gets really eldritch.
