Hi all... Time to subject everyone to my random efforts at music-making.

I recorded a track this evening in a sort of free-form style, with a Theremin thru some heavy delay and reverb, a MicroKorg for a couple timbres, a MicroX, and my A6 on pads and arpeggiators.

There's no real "tune", but I had fun playing with the knobs and dials on everything.

 Description:
A6, MicroKorg, MicroX, and Theremin electro-music track. Just me playing with the equipment after a long day of getting some new gear installed.

Glad to be of service Smile Thanks for listening!

It was more of a fun piece, rather than a serious effort.

I had finally gotten my new Lexicon reverb integrated into my setup, and wanted to give it a test drive. The Theremin seemed like the perfect first test for it. I have to say, the A6 sounds pretty good through external effects, as well.

I still have to get my new Midi adapter hooked up so I can plug the A6 into midi. All my midi ports were in use before I got the A6, so I had to buy a new 4-port midi adapter, which I haven't installed yet. Perhaps over the weekend.

Then I can do some more serious sequencing.

Well, to my ears it sounded a bit experimental music, but I have an ear or two for such a music, so it's cool. Smile

It certainly does. Just watch the output levels of the A6 before sending it to some external processor, just to be on the safe side. Which Lexicon do you use? I used reverbs from a TC Electronic M3000 and they sound... awesome? Cool

Thanks! I wasn't really sure what to call it. It's really only my first or second attempt at something like that. I have normally tried the traditional voice leading/music theory approach, so it was fun to leave those restrictions behind.

I got an MX200 as a surprise Christmas present this year. It seems to do what I wanted -- it's a natural sounding reverb. The reverb in the A6 sounds a little metallic, as a lot of reverbs often do. To my ears, the MX200 sounds more like a natural large space.
