With the latest updates Camel has started using the internal tilt sensors to control the morphing panel. They've also posted some new sound libraries that are pretty cool. I bought the BioLabs Dark Space and Luftrum Ambient sound packs. Pretty cool stuff. What I'm really liking about Alchemy is that it's adding the airy, soundscapy type sounds the other synths don't do as well. Unfortunately you don't have the editing capability like you do with the Mac/PC version, but it's still a good value and makes a decent live performance app. for iPad. They also improved the Midi i/o section - you can now select your interface and channels. Before it was set only to channel 1.

I'll see about posting some sound bites if anyone is interested....

Alchemy Player comes as part of the Eigenharp's AUs; I actually like this version better than the Mac app. It takes MIDI quite simply.

I've been meaning to download the player but just haven't gotten 'round to it. One of these days I suppose. The latest version of the iOS app is much better then the previous wrt performance capabilities. It was quite irritating not being able to select the midi channel it was operating on. The addition of the sensor use is a big bonus. I've been exploring the new libraries - pretty good stuff....

I guess I'm heading over to the Camel site sooner then I thought...

Wow awesome sound! I thought "2001" right away, with a hint of old Alan Parsons Project, before I read the comment. Smile Thanks for that one!

Cheers Stefan. Smile It's very unashamedly 'me', but you know I can't seem to shake being a bit out there from time to time! Wink

There was some post processing done to this track in Meteor, but essentially it was all done within the iPad (1). I should do more really?

Really! That was most excellent! Very Happy
The newly released (for mobile) Dark Space and Ambient are along the same style.
