May be the crossfaders as DIY sample and hold
behave not so well, sometimes. Will try this.
One could exchange the other ones for valswitches and use the
"standard" logic inverter as clock, as they didn´t work
together with my level converter clock for some reason.

Oh, come to think of it .. I did have problems with the cross fader in the delay line multiplexer as well & got 'm out ... sory, could have remebered that earlier :-) _________________ Jan

Much better, it works !
I'm going to make a building block item for the long delays, may I invite you Marcus to do so for the multiplexers ? I'll put some linking in the new and old threads then.
Things are geting out of bounds a bit for this thread maybe.

I´m working on it...
I figured out inter-slot sync *is* needed sometimes.
You´ve been right, of course.
This is the solution I came up with so far.
The other perf is the corrected 8 channels diy multiplexer
for the interested (without the extra sync yet).
Should this go to Experimental Forum for now?
Feel free to move it.

I thought it would be a nice one for the building blocks section. I'm feeling lazy though right now (hell its about time I went to bed ), so when you still have some energy left ... hint ... hint
Too bad the asynchroneous syncing, so to speak, dont work. I'll check the patches later, tomorrow or so. _________________ Jan

Ok, had a look at the patches.
The topmost indeed has some channel mixup/bleeding.
Thought the 2nd one was not working ... but having a better lookI found a bad audio cable :-(
The sync click is pretty smart ! And as it's only once at patch startup it could be sent even over the same bus line as used for an audio signal (just make it !LOUD!).
Nice as well to see the voice allocation at work. _________________ Jan
