Howdy.

My name's Kristen.

I'm interested in producing and making my own Electronic Dance Music. I'm also interested in learning how to DJ... but I don't want to become completely reliant on other's people music.

I've been attending raves in and around Nashville for the last 2 years. I'm in love with the music. I can't live without it, I need the constant thumpthumpthump to keep my heart beating!

I really enjoy the harder and darker side of EDM/IDM... As far as EDM, I like Gabber, Hardcore, Terrorcore, Dark Drum and Bass, Drill and Bass, and Breakbeat. (Some speedcore I like, but it can get really annoying really quick. It's nice in segments and samples, lol) IDM-wise, I enjoy Dark Ambient, Spacey kinda Drone music.

I'm here to get a bit of advice on what equipment to get. Since Christmas is coming up, I have a budget of about $500-$600. But I'm saving that discussion for another thread.
Very Happy
