hi!
yes I am using the AU Version.

big problem: I started the vocoder already 176 times of 200!
I thought it is only time limited.
so I have to wait till the group buy is over.
difficult - because I am in the middle of some work with the Vocoder.

are you also on the list ?
best

Begin forwarded message:

Eiosis Support: ... I am currently working on more presets, I agree that the plugin lacks of presets for the moment.
About the midi learn function, I think that i would be available in a newt version.

The own carrier sound is also planned for a future version !

All the best,
Fabrice

The ELS is seemingly inspired by the ESM vocoder. The original is pretty cool, but what you really want ( and what we all want ) would be something more like the Bode/MOOG vocoders. Imagine something like the Moog vocoder which would integrate perfectly in the signal/buss routing in Logic Pro. It depends on where you are coming from, but IMO essentially a good vocoder should be modular and patchable.

However, the ELS seems like a clone of the EMS and it is probably OK, but still not quite what I really want.

I see!
I am coming from experimental music and DUB.
work also with LOGIC / MAXMSP / G2 NORD ...
but my interest is more for sound quality and processing than for complex matrix systems.
and the ELS Vocoder sounds great! much better as the LOGIC-VOCODER !!!

b.th.w. I will use the Vocoder not for voices -- more for finding the sound/harmony in the noise ::::::::::::::::::::::::~~~~~~~~~~

1.The EMS vocoder sounds just fine. It does however look better than it sounds.

2. I understand. I guessed as much. That was why I mentioned the bode/moog vocoder.

hey!
thank you for your information.
pity that I need a software Vocoder. for concerts and travelling.
so I am trusting Eiosis that they will improve the Vocoder -- as they promised.

curios how your decision will be.
best wishes

hi!
good news: Eiosis will improve step by step the ELS Vocoder:

".... About the patching possibility : Do you mean to patch directly a band to the outputs or to a internal modulation inputs (FM, PWM, ...) ?
One of the further version of the ELS Vocoder will bring external carrier input. After this version, we will release a more complex patching vocoder. But we have to specify a lot. So feel free to give us your wishes.

About the compressor, it will be also added in a further version (maybe the next one with the external input carrier) ..."

I am a regular user of vocoder. SVC350, VC-10, G2... but I love this software..., very intuitive, effects, eq..., sampler (for the carrier section...), everthing you need is there...

I love it....
