Hello everybody:

Well I've been lurking about for a bit and think I should introduce myself at this time.

My name is Matia and I've been involved with electronic music for a good chunk of time. The last two and a half years of my life were spent designing, curating, and working in the Synth Room at Asphodel/Recombinant Media Labs as well as working on several productions for the label and external clientele. I was the studio director for that room and, with the close of that location, I have moved out my equipment and have commenced a different studio with an emphasis on what the group I work with needs. I will indeed miss those modulars but my hands are quiet full with what I've got at the moment that needs to be used! In any case, that's what I've been up to and where my background sort of is Smile

In addition to working in the music industry, I am pretty much a full time student of Sociology and am in the middle of finishing up my degree. This is a great spot for a lot of different resources and I hope to contribute in any way I can.
