I have been posting here for a year and didn't know about this bit!

I am slightly older than many people here 50+ and a Physics Teacher from the UK.

I have been building synths and projects for over 30 years, ever since my Dad refused to buy me a VCS3 for my 18th birthday, something about costing half a years wages, I dunno. Wink

I still have some of my early projects although being a great re-cycler most have been cannibalized for parts over the years.

I was a Bass Player in a rock band for many years and doubled on Keyboards, Guitar and vocals, but the plan now is to go out as a solo act, playing mainly keyboards, but probably a bit of acoustic guitar and singing too Smile

My current project is moving my soundlab into a 19" rack so it can come out to play with me, and then adding a few extra DIY modules to give it similar capabilities to the VCS-3 that I still want Very Happy

Most of my gear is either made by me or adapted from broken commercial gear, although I have just added a second hand FB-01 and a CM-32 to give me a "safe pair of hands" for live work, although I will probably add a laptop for drums, sequencing and a VST Mellotron Laughing

Oh yes I only finish projects the night before I am due to use them live for the first time.

There is a lot of old farts here, including me ... but at times it seems like the synth stuff causes refusal to grow up or something Shocked
