Welcome |
 |
|
hello friends,
when i started DIY in 2005 i never would have thought that someday someone would find it necessary to create a sub-forum for me.
i started DIY knowing nothing about electronics, even soldering has been new to me. so i needed help. and i found a lot of help from the nice people here at electro-music.com. this spirit of helpfulness, unselfishness and friendship kept me at DIY and still stuns me.
in the past couple of years i published some PCB layouts for designs i did not develop myself (i.e. Thomas Henry's Super Controller, it has been one of the first PCB runs here on this forum, i believe), and recently one or the other of my own designs added to that. hopefully this sub-forum helps you to find things easier, and helps to bring some more order into all that content of our beloved DIY-forum at electro-music.com
thanks to the site admins for creating this sub-forum. _________________

It's about time eh
Matthias, if you want me to change the forum description, or title, just let me know.
Some old stuff will have to be moved here, which will take a while - but I'm sure we'll get there if everyone capable of moving stuff will do so when stumbling over a situation. _________________ Jan

Glad to see the DIY section staying more like DIYAHO (Do It Yourself and Help Others)! Especially with members like you to keep setting examples, Matthias! |

Brilliant news! I've really enjoyed building Fonitronik boards, and there is now a forum dedicated to this.
Just an idea, but would it be worth moving all of Fonik's older project posts into this sub forum now? It would be great to see all of Fonik's work & resources to date in one place, and much easier to find/navigate.
Anyway, congratulations on the sub forum, I'm looking forward to seeing this filling up with plenty of great projects in the future. _________________ LektroiD |

Welcome to your new home.
I'm sure the mods will be moving in the old furniture soon, you just need to get your workbench set up to keep supplying is with more interesting projects.
All the best
