Hi!
I own a Nord Rack 2 (lead) and having problems with the arpeggio and tempo.
I use an alesis micron as a midi keyboard. I want to control the arpeggio tempo from the alesis.. But it doesnt sync properly. I´ve read the manual and set the lfo/rate/ to zero etc! Any ideas how to make this work? The alesis is programed to send out external clock!

Help would be appriciated!
Thanks,

welcome juno666

It's hard to get it in sync with an exrenal Midi clock.
Take a look at http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/Red_Lady/Index_bestanden/Red_Lady/BPM.htm
Only the red BPM is exactly; the black ones almost.

thanks!

is there an easy way to save the tempo to a preset? e.g without using an external midiclock? so the tempo is right when you play live.. been reading the manual without getting much further..and new to this rack! thanks!

LFO2 Rate sets the tempo and is saved in the Program as ever.
Using the [Shift+LFO1 wave form] combination and tweaking a knob shows the value of the parameter in the LCD, so one can set all Programs used in a song in the same tempo.

BTW it is easier to use the Lead as controller to other synth, because there is an Arpeggio Midi Out mode.
