Has anyone used a laptop touchscreen as an HID (similar to how you can use a mouse) to provide dynamic input to control a Chuck program? I would like to know how to set up the HID for using touchscreen interface in performance.

ChucK can use OSC (Open Sound Control).

I don't know much about "Touch OSC" -- but you may find it's what you're looking for.

A program for mouse-driven GUI control of ChucK I have used, and quite like, is "OSControl.":
