The BOM for the Wave Multiplier calls for four 4.7v zener diodes... I can certainly wait for my next Mouser order to get the proper parts, but I'm curious about what would happen were I to replace these with 5v zeners instead?? I've got lots of those in my parts bin. I don't have a problem waiting a little while to receive the spec'ed components, but I thought I would investigate the possibility of using something very close that I've already got on hand. Thoughts??

no problem, stick them in and fire it up.
the ones on the grinder are just to limit the output signal to 4.7V or 5V in your case. The ones on the pwm cct prevent the signal getting too high or low, so the pulse width doesn't get stuck at 0% or 100%
Again an extra 0.3V will make little difference.

Cool, I had a feeling that was the case but thought I'd pass it by folks who know for sure. I guess I can finish it off tonight. Thanks for the speedy comeback.

As I understand it will limit the output of the Grinder to +-5V, so to 10V peak to peak. Am I right?
