Hi all,

I was going through some old boxes and I found a set of MFOS PCBs that I bought from Ray back in 2006, which I sadly never got around to building. Now that I've found these, I really want to pay my respects and make a synth out of them.

Unfortunately, some of them are older than even the oldest versions documented on the MFOS page.

For example, the VCO board silkscreen says RJWSOFT VCO200503REV01 while the build instructions for VCO Old Design I has a photo with a 2006 silkscreen and the layout looks a little different.

Does anybody happen to have some archived build instructions for ~2006 era revision PCBs?

Use Wayback Machine. Maybe this is it?:

You may have to poke around a bit yourself for everything but I imagine you should be able to find everything you need.

Also, just noticed you have a MFOS Dual VCA there. That design has an inherent error so that bleedthrough sometimes can't be calibrated out. I'm not sure this was even fixed in later revisions... When you build it I would take into account guests suggested changes in this thread to fix this issue. https://modwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=185577&p=3537147&hilit=MFOS+VCA#p3537147
