I came into a bunch of cd4522 divide by n chips and i am trying to find a project (or projects) or just circuit ideas that would use this chip.

i am about to breadboard it and see what i can get out of it but i just figured somebody might know of a design out there.

thanks!

A subharmonics generator perhaps. Refer to the data sheet for the frequency divider example application. Or a square to saw converter which I built with a similar chip.

I am looking for a single chip divider circuit with this and although I have read the data sheet again and again have not been able to get it to work.

I remember getting the sample two chip version from the data sheet working though.

Actually designed a cool noise drum with a CD4069, CD4522 and CD4517.
I figured out the CD4522 after reading up on it in the CMOS COOKBOOK.
