Hello - from Belgium |
 |
|
Dear forum members,
After a long period of being not too active on the music scene, it recently became again very much part of my life. Electronic music has always inspired me and I have produced some, but I am also interested in baroque and contemporary classical music. So I really look forward to join the discussions on this forum.
The advent of podcasting has further inspired me to start my own "Samples in Motion" podcast, which reflects my renewed ambition to be actively involved with music. What I am doing now in terms of recording, composing and mixing is to a great extent reflected in that. This podcast is about sharing samples, collaborative composition and remixing. The results are featured on the show. Tools are discussed which brings a bit the educational/informational aspect. I will also be featuring interviews. If am inviting you to have a look at http://samplesinmotion.com where you can subscribe.
In the meanwhile I look forward to the discussions!
Take care,
Serge |

Serge. Great to have you here. There are a lot of electro-musicians here that are into classical music too. I'll check out your podcast as soon as I get a little time. I look forward to seeing you around. _________________ --Howard

Hi Howard,
I already had a listen to the lament without Moog (sad, I know) and your XImprov. I like the way how you combine the analog with voice/granular effects - sounds really nice. I am a big fan of evolving textures! I still need to listen to the composition you did together with your daughter, where acoustical meets electronics!
Cheers,
Serge |

That's some interesting idea to make podcasts the way you do. Listened to a few, there is some nice stuff in it as well.
Oh, did I say welcome, yes I did :-) _________________ Jan
