Trigger to MIDI Interface - Circuit Schematics or Module for MIDI Marimba that I am building.
what ever I build or buy needs to handle 5 octaves or 64 notes capacity.
I suppose midi notes #33 t0 #99.
I am looking for a device or circuit that can interface between a MIDI Marimba, that I am building with touch and velocity sensitive Triggers, and a sound modual.
PLEASE: No drum triggers. I need something polyphonic, velocity and pressure sensitive, and has a wide note range of 64 note minimum span.
I am willing to build the circuit board from scratch if need be but prefer one already built. _________________ Alexandra

The Akai S900 sampler has a trigger to midi converter built in, but that's somewhat expensive, very bulky and may be hard to find. It was a very popular sampler in the 80's though. _________________ Free Tibet. Release the Panchen Lama from prison. Let the Dalai Lama return to his home. |

Thanks Cappy, Good suggestions. you were on the right track.
The website http://timara.con.oberlin.edu/~jtalbert/MTrig/mtrig.htm was more like what I am seeking.
