hullo all!

just wondered if anyone could tell me how i can reduce the bitrate of an audio signal in chuck to get 8bit/lofi/chiptune sounds

cant find any info on this on here, in the manual or anywhere else Sad

Yeah, I wrote it for Atte who is a experienced ChucKist so I could assume he would grasp all of it without too many comments. I was also assuming a knowledge of sampling theory.

If the manual is not of help for the bits you don't quite get yet we can go over them, there's some interesting stuff going on that might actually be fun to go over if you'd like. Don't hesitate to ask. If you don't get it at all you can still use it, that's why I put all of the actual re-sampling in a function but of course you're way better off with code you get.
