Hi All,

New user here

I did have a scan through the forum search but couldn't find anything so thought I would quickly ask!

I have had a Nord Lead 3 for a while now but when I first purchased it, I used it solely as a midi controller for AU's on Logic as I was new to Logic at the time and wanted to purely focus on learning that first. I am now keen to start using the Nord to its full potential but cannot remember how to switch between using the Nord as a midi controller and stand alone synth.

I have misplaced the manual and the previous owner hasn't responded to my email.

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks
Andy

welcome 14andyhigg

http://electro-music.com/forum/download.php?id=14701 is where you can download the Manual, apart from Clavia's (Nord) site.

A NordLead always sends Midi, so leave the Midi Out where it is Smile
Just connect the Audio Outputs to a mixing desk or amplifier and you'll hear the sounds!

Wout

BTW...
You just used the Lead3 as a MidiController? Shocked
Shame on you!

Cool

Thanks for the quick response and apologies for my long response!! My internet has been down Sad

I can hear the synth just fine now, I will be using it more now as like you say it is a huge waste just being used as a Midi keyboard Smile

Thanks
