@ fadeddata: Thanks for it, that was the _last_ missing part to get it really working like the original Smile

oh come now, we wouldnt put intentional errors into our PCBs. that set revision never went into production as a module, so the error was never found by us. dont be so paranoid ^_^

But to be honest Seth, TekniK does have a good point, and we do have a strict policy at electro-music.com that all boards submitted through the forum are working properly and DON'T have these kind of errors that both readers and constructors have to go hunting for after they have paid for the goods. I don't want to start a fight/ flame war, but please can you test these things in future, before they go on sale? Cheers! Very Happy

PS- I would have sawn my own leg off for one of these things- in a working condition Laughing . There have been a few lurkers around this forum in recent months carrying Uzi's. Not a nice state to be Shocked

You can get a current working version from Ken Stone/CGS. With new extra features!

I wouldn't be kicking Seth for a deal that was posted here more than a year ago, and he did post explicit warnings that these boards hadn't been tested, and there was no support offered. FWIW, I managed to get 2 motm prototype boards from him that worked perfectly upon assembly.

Edit - rereading the first post, he doesn't mention the not tested aspect, which I had misremembered. Hmmm.

You can get one from CGS http://www.cgs.synth.net/modules/cgs75_vcs.html

Though I don't think Ken accept body parts. But you can always ask!

Smile

Ken wrote on his PCB page more boards due at the end of November.
If the past two runs are anything to go buy the VCS will sell out in a day or 2, so it may be prudent to watch Ken's page for updates.
