i dunno. I only remember my friend saying that i had to find the Encore record. I was into Metallica at the time.

Fakesh did a solo record called Marion. I can't find it in this capharnaum.
Did you had time to encode a clip from CAN because i'm stuck with Can't get you of my head. nice melody

3 choices:
a) my understanding of your language is too poor to understand what you say
b) you are again listening to TD while you are writing
c) none of the above

I don't sa. Mi ricordo soltanto di che il mio amico stava comunicando che ho dovuto trovare l'annotazione di encore. Ero allora in Metallica.

Having worked with a few, I would advise the Yamaha RM1X for sure.

Well, I found a good used RM1X on Ebay. I should be receiving it on the first week of Sept. I looks like it could be a very useful tool. I'll keep you posted on my progress. I'll probably have more questions.

Well, I've had my new RM1X for about a week. What a great instrument. It makes creating unique rhythm tracks much easier. Plus it easily will control external synths or record midi from extenal synths as well. It's internal synth module is OK, but the sequencing features are more than I expected. This would be a great machine to take on a trip becasue it's small and has all the basic functions as well as sequencing. When you come home you can tie it into your studio. You can save your work on a floppy.

I know you said "hardware" but have you tried Numerology?
If not (and if you're on a Mac): www.five12.com

On the other hand there's Doepfer's MAQ 16/3, Regelwerk and Schaltwerk, Future Retro's Mobius (but only one track), any of the MPCs from Akai and the XBase 09 from www.Jomox.de Wink

Numerology looks pretty cool. But I am on a PC. The price sure is nice. However, I must say I am captivated by the RM1X. Right now I am using it as an end in itself, but eventually I plan to tie in my laptop and my Waldorfs into it.
