LM394 - discontinued, but Futurlec still has them in stock at a very good price. You might also look at the SSM2210 and MAT02 matched pairs, but these are more expensive and can be difficult to find.
Tim (I held up two pieces of fruit at the market the other day and told my wife I had a matched pair of pears... she didn't get it) Servo |

I'm afraid Futurlec seems to have run out of these some time ago. |

I guess I'm not But every time I've checked in the past couple months it's said not in stock with no "order" button. Maybe I just keep looking at the wrong times. |

Yep, that's what I'm seeing now, too. My recent order was accepted on Oct 6, so not too long ago.

This is way too much for my little H1N1 wracked brain to handle. I'm going to choke down some aspirin and try to cool down before I start weaving some elaborate conspiracy theory |

I'm reviving this thread, currently shopping for pairs I wouldn't have to match myself...
- Ready to use
- Widely available (digikey, mouser...)
- DIP package, or anything through-hole...
To this day, what are the best options you know? Is it a "pick any 2" thing? |

| At worst If you have to match your own use (2) 2N2222A NPN's they work the best. They can't physically touch, but get them close enough with the Tempco also and hot glue gun them with epoxy or similar and performance is good. |
