I have a MIDI controller has 2 slide potentiometers and they're pretty stiff/stubborn. Perhaps this is normal slide movement, and I'm simply spoiled by being accustomed to super-fluid-moving DJ mixer crossfaders.

That being said I'm wondering if there's a way to loosen/lubricate the sliders, some solution I can find that does NOT involve a) swapping these out for different sliders and b) moving the slider back and forth hundreds of times to 'wear in' the slider.

thanks!

I used to use Cramolin on my Arps for years, a can lasted me for years.

Cramolin had CFCs in it, and has been replaced by Deoxit.

I can't endorse it, since I never used it, I still had plenty of Cramolin
left when i was forced to sell my Arps.

Caig has a damn good rep, and it's worth looking into.
