S1 Editor |

Ok, so I don't have my S1 yet but does anyone use the editor? I'm on OSX so it really sucks we can't get a Mac version as I'm sure there are other OSX users out there. |

Im OSX & S1 user but didnt need the editor (till now). Anyway its just necessary for reconfiguring the midi interface and imho you will need this not that often.
But ... it would be nice to have an OSX version too |

Yea it would be cool if we could just have the option. I'm hoping we can garner enough support here on the forum to persuade Wowa to release a OSX version. |

Are you guys saying the S1 doesn´t come with an OS X editor?
You can only make those edits using a PC? _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Yes, but correctly the editor is not for the s1, its just for the midi interface. The S1 is complete analog, nothing to edit here by computer
To change midi interface mappings or update the midi interface firmware you need the editor. If you need it.
Dont remember right now but i think you can also reprogram the midi interface manual by midi commands .. pain in the ass but its possible.
And honestly, i would like to see the cwejman modular before an osx version of this editor. Hmm...maybe not...better for my creditcard |

Yea but from what I've heard the modular/modules can interface with S1 and or S2. So imagine the S1 with all it's patch points and these modules. Having editor support for OSX is just a little extra + |

Sure the S1 is a preassembled, prepatched modular. So patch in whatever you like. Especially a cwejman modular
But still, even with all this patching the editor is need for reconfiguring the midi interface only. Anyway you have cv outs on the s1, with these you can control a/the modular as well.
But as said i would like to see an OSX editor as well.
...and a updated cwejman site
...and more info about the new cwejman modular

I'm with ya
On a side note do you know anything about the Optional Instrument stand kit available for the S1? It mentions it in pg. 3 of the manual but I can't any info outside of that. |

No, after having it the first days on some packaging material (cause the midi, audio & power conns are on the back, so you cannot lay it on a flat surface) i mounted it in my rack.
The cheapest solution is to cut two nice pieces of wood and screw the s1 to it, voila a desktop s1.
There some desktop miniracks, but for my taste the angle is too steep. |

Getting back to the editor, messing around with Windows version it's pretty cool. I had to use it to re-configure CV6 (pitchbend) because it was set to +-24? To much for my style. Since I mainly use OSX I wont be breaking out my PC laptop often unless I need to reconfigure the midi interface. |
