afaik -

the early Serge panels were 17 x 7 inches in size
and pots and jacks were all 1 inch apart, each panel had 16 by 6 holes.

STS are still 16 columns, 1 inch spacing. Pots are still spaced 1 inch apart vertically but jacks are now bunched up together or still at 1 inch spacing, depends on the module.

check out the panel images at egres to get an idea -

are you planning on building a Serge Very Happy ?

Andrew

I doubt Rex would care much if I started making Serge panels right?!?!?!? Smile

Actually I just admire their use of space, and want to ape the style for an extra large panel I want to build. it will be substantially larger and pack a tremendous wallop of function into a small package (HOPEFULLY). Now I need to find some pics of the guts to see how they fit so much mojo into a 3" deep box...

Thanks Plenty!!

Fantastic! Those photos confirm that my ideas of organized chaos are pretty inline with Serge's.

Funny that as many times as I have scoured the CGS site, I never saw this Serge info...DOH
