Clavia has discontinued Nordlead 3 and 2x.

I wonder if there is any regularity in the price drop in such cases.

I have hardly any experience with buying/selling music instruments. A shop proposes adiscount for a Nordlead 3 Keyboard which was returned by the previous buyer. They ask 1700 euros (2230 euros is their regular price). It is 10% lower than the lowest offer I have come across.
The condition is described as perfect, warranty full (2 years).

Is it a bargain or should I negotiate the price?

Pls give me a hint how to talk with them and how big discount to expect.

Thanks

T

The best way to check on what a discontinued piece of gear is worth is to check Ebay and weigh it against the price of that offer. My experience with these things is that hardware synths and just about any musical gear drop a bit in price but then stay at a certain point and then stay at a certain price. Sometimes though years later they can all of a sudden just go way up in price due to supply and demand, like the Roland 303 Shocked as an example of this.
