Yamaha TX81z Lately Bass |
 |
|
Hi,
I'm in the process of re-patching some old NM patches to the G2, and tweaking them in the process...
This is a Latelybass patch using custom TX wave generators to get the non-sine waveforms (thanks to help from Rob Hordijk). The architecture is pretty faithful to the original.
I haven't got my TX with me so it may need tweaking to get the velocity sens just right, but then the original gets a bit splatty at hi velocities anyway.
EDIT: See version in next post!!!!!!! _________________ Grant Last edited by grantransom on Tue May 29, 2007 7:51 am; edited 2 times in total |

Works good. Sounds great.
I've never seen a divider done with a S&H and inverter like that. Cool. |

Yes ! I mean, no, never saw it either.
I just discovered that by adding a tunable delay into the loop it turns into a programmable divider ... fun ! _________________ Jan

Cool, glad it works, thanks!
A Clock Divider could have done it, there *may* be a small cpu advantage to the "Old School" flip-flop (which I found is also now a module on the G2) - as it does a single "job", whereas the Clock/Div probably uses a form of step-counter to get the multiple divisions.(?) That or an array of flip-flops...
S&H is so darn useful for patching trickery. _________________ Grant |

I knew this is possible, but it's an old habit of mine to leave all versions of any sound accessable.
In this instance though, the change is just to the velocity sensitivity - I'll kill the first one. _________________ Grant |
