Inspired by his "Silver Apples of the Moon".
My first encounter with music of Morton Subotnic.
It is made on a Roland "System 100" with two expanders.
rhythm and "melody" are made with two manually controlled sample & holds.

Bravo! That's a hit in my book. I love this one. The simple electronic sounds are so refreshing. It really brings images of Subotnic and I'm sure he'd be proud to know he inspired this.

Razz salut cheers well done too much coffee well-done love

These sounds are great. I remeber the Roland 100 to be sligthly more noisy, but I guess there were some bad apples. Do you still have that little monster around?

No I don't. But I regret selling them.
Second hand, here in the Netherlands, there asking the same price as what I bought them for almost 30 jeers ago. Otherwise I would bye one again.
The sound good and look very sexy.
Right now I have a Micro Modular on witch i made a reconstruction of the patch. But it doesn't sound as full as on the System 100. On the other hand, the micro is much more easy to carry around.
