Funny thing, I've been thinking along the same lines. I had even picked up some chips to play with, for when I got home and built one of your circuits.
You're just way ahead of me, Ian. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

Well it was the discussion of the 5pulser that started it, of course. Your output stage for the 5 pulser outputs being basically an OR gate, made me think of a couple of things. If you could combine pulse lengths via an OR gate, you could get some interesting variable pulse widths.
And I was thinking of what happens when you use some different logic. It's been raining here at the beach so I have had time to sit around and sketch logic tables. _________________ Garret: It's so retro.

Yep. I got 2 of them, but haven't built them yet. I built the Digisound version of the sawtooth wave animator long ago, and found that you really need to be able to tweak the LFOs, which can be done with Scotts version.

Very interesting territory! I'm still looking for the perfect alien hurdy-gurdy drone. Or a choir of dijeridoos.
I just finished your 5pulser, and have been playing with it a little bit. First thing I did was feed it from Ken Stone's wave multiplier.
Now you got me thinking of feeding the 5pulser into my sub-oscillator/divider. . . . |

Hey, glad you got it working! But feeding it with a wave tripler? That's got to be a lot of pulses.
Please keep us posted as you experiments progress.
