Here's the latest news for the Pandemonium Symposium.
The Pandemonium Symposium is a collective of electronic artists in the NJ area.

PERFORMANCES
Brewed Awakening has decided not to have music any more. So, the remaining shows (Brainstatik and Don Slepian) have to be cancelled. I'm looking for another venue in central NJ that is hospitable to electronic music. Let me know if you see any possibilities.
Ken Palmer (Brainstatik) is organizing the Cosmic Coffeehouse, in Crosswicks NJ on Sept 13.
Brainstatik, Stares to Nowhere, and Ombient will perform. The next one is planned for November 8. Contact Ken if you wish to participate. More information here:

Mutation Vector and Xeroid Entity will participate in the Different Skies festival, September 8-14 at Arcosanti in Arizona.
Howard Moscovitz will perform at Modular 2003, September 10-12 in London.
Mutation Vector will be playing at Landing Pad III, November 1 at the Rotunda in Philadelphia, along with Church of Hed, Mikronesia, The Crime, and Scattered Planets. Mutation Vector will also appear at Ambitention, November 8 in Worcester, MA.
RECORDINGS
Fringe Element's Rampant Biology is now available at

I have enough tracks to produce a compilation CD for pandemonium artists - it's not too late to be included if you haven't already given me something.
SPACE JAM
We had a great time on August 2. Participants included Greg Waltzer, James Lacey and Mike Victor (Fringe Element), Bill Fieger and Heather Lind (Stares to Nowhere), Don Slepian, JX, and Ben Stein.
Some excellent music was created, which I will condense into a CD for everyone who was there.
The next space jam is tentatively scheduled for November 22, in Bridgewater NJ. Space is limited, so contact me if you would like to participate.
SPACE MUSIC RETREAT
The Synaptic Confluence space music retreat has been scheduled for May 3-7, 2004 in the Catskills of NY state. The purpose of this event is to bring electronic musicians together in a natural setting to encourage the flow of creative energy. More info here: http://spacemusic.us
Attendance will be limited to 20 musicians, 24 people total. So, get in touch with me if you want to reserve a spot. Don't wait too long, I will be announcing this on various mailing lists beginning in October. The cost will be $320 per person, which includes lodging for 4 nights (Monday - Thursday) and 3 meals a day. |
