Hi,
Diatonis - Dark Edges DVD-Audio ISO Image File
You can download the torrent file here: DIATONIS_DARK_EDGES_DVD-AUDIO_2GB_ISO_IMAGE.torrent
This is an ISO file which you can burn to a DVD-R and have it playback in
a DVD-Audio player. Once this file has been burnt onto a DVD-r disc the
disc will contain the 5.1 Surround Sound DVD-Audio version of Diatonis'
"Dark Edges" album. The music is mild dark ambient with moments of
more intense sound.

Hi,
For those who don't know what a torrent is
Go here: http://www.bittorrent.com/ and find the download for your
OS (PC, Mac). When I go I end with this link: http://www.bittorrent.com/download?csrc=header
Utorrent seems really nice as well: http://www.utorrent.com/
Install the program and then download the torrent file which can be
found here: http://tinyurl.com/2wo8nw (the file ends in .torrent).
It should open up the bittorrent program and then start downloading file.
It'll take sometime to download so go do something else for awhile.
After you get the file you'll need to burn it to a DVDr. If you need a
free ISO burner for Windows I like this one: http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/
I've had the best luck with the silver faced ink-jet printable Taiyo Yuden
DVD-Rs. They play in all of my players, but use what works for your player. _________________ diatonis Last edited by diatonis on Thu Nov 15, 2007 11:53 am; edited 1 time in total |

Maybe this is a stupid question, but if you download a torrent program is your own computer added automatically to the network of file sharing computers? Is this safe? _________________ --Howard

OK, I'm downloading your 2 GB file now. I probably won't be able to watch it for a while because yesterday our TV died, as did our car. So, I can't get a new TV until the car is fixed. When it rains it pours, and it's raining in Allentown now... _________________ --Howard

Yes, it passed over the bridge to TV heaven. Maybe some angle can fix it. To us, it's not worth repairing. _________________ --Howard

Hi Howard,
The torrent is still online if you haven't gotten it. I'll keep up for today or longer if people are interested. It does appear that there are others seeding the torrent as well.
Sorry to hear about your TV Did it have a CRT type tube? You'll now have to get an LCD or Plasma screen (HD). I haven't seen a CRT TV around for awhile. The DVD-Audio disc will however just start playing so you don't really need to see the menu.
Also you can de-select "Start Bittorrent on System Startup" in the options panel so it will only connect if you run the program. _________________ diatonis |

I got a new TV last night. It will be delivered tomorrow - maybe. We went with a DLP because you get a big screen for very little money - relatively. Not many program channels yet it seems. I wish TCM would broadcast in HD.
Anyway, I've got your DVD downloaded and I'll try to watch it in a couple of days if all goes well. Thanks for your help. _________________ --Howard

I'm downloading the 2.2 GB ISO file now. I assume I can play it on my computer. My DVD player broke. I'm in the market for a new one but I'm considering BlueRay which is kinda pricey.
I had trouble with the torrent.
1) I got about 27% of the file downloaded and it stopped. I thought I had the entire thing but I was wrong.
2) there was this program called DNA.exe on my PC that used a great deal of memory; it brought my PC to its knees. I had to remove the bit torrent program. _________________ --Howard
