I have seen some mentions on here of cheap sources for accurate resistors. I looked through mouser and jameco and cant find anything too cheap.

(hoping to find deals like 50 for 5.00 or something.

Anyone know of a good deal on these in basic values? Thanks.

Mouser has 1% resistors, if you order a specific amount you get some pretty decent deals:

271-1K-RC for 50 = $4.50

OR

271-1K-RC for 200 = $4.00

As you can see I always go for 200 no matter what. Just input 291-(resistor value)-RC (rc was added recently to denote RoHS compliant)

Also for standard 5% resistors use 291-(resistor value)-rc, for 200 5% resistors it's $2.80

Hope this helps.

since you are looking for 0.1% precision resistors you won't get them for cheap, i fear. i get only 10 for 5.-$!

Allied Electronics has them:

http://www.alliedelec.com/Search/ProductDetail.asp?SKU=895-1361&SEARCH=&MPN=RN55C1003B&DESC=RN55C1003B&R=895%2D1361&sid=4740D2005B00E17F

About 40 cents for each resistor in quantities of 50.

You could get a bunch of 100K 1% resistors from Ebay for about a penny each (on tape) and match them also.

Rapid has them for very reasonable prices, but their minimum order is relatively high. If someone arranged a group buy for 0.1% 100k resistors, I'd be in for sure Wink
