While experimenting last night i found an easy way to loop a toy the had no looping capability of it's own. i placed a photocell across a matrix button input on the main board and had an led flash next to it. Most of these things i'm working on already have leds. simple easy trigger.

I would suggest you try tape destruction. It is a unique and inexpensive way to create sound.

I can't wait to try tape destruction, I have a suitcase full of tape cassettes that need to be destroyed.

that would require a tape player. all the ones i owned have died, and i haven't found one at the flea market (my local thrift store). plus all my synths are payed off. making sound isn't a problem, operating 6 things at once is.
