Hi there, I have noticed that I can assign assign controllers on many patches that have ben converted from MM to G2. Is that a general problem or am I doing something wrong ?
Many grat patches here. Just a few too many. This will keep me busy the whole weekend Shocked

I assume you mean you can NOT assign controllers to some patches ... could you post an example (or a link to it)?

Or when you save the patch from the editor (maybe after having made some small change to be sure it gets saved indeed) and reopen it, does that change things?

yes, sorry. meant I can not apply the controller in the G2. Well the patch I load has initially not assigned controllers and if I try to assign one, the display on the G2 just stays black. As said it works with some, but not with all. Will check out again when Im hope later and send you a link if the problem isn't solved.
Is there actually a book that you would recoment regarding creating patches or would you say that the user manual and analysing patches would do the job ?
thanks
Jason

great thanks a lot for the link. some great stuff. No, the problem I have with the assigning seems to be on all controllers. can see any controller assignments anymore, only the tempo and the patch level. Hopefully the system reset will solve the problem...
thx
Jason
