THE SENSES
an interdisciplinary conference at the London College of Music & Media - a faculty of THAMES VALLEY UNIVERSITY
Friday 6 February 2004
This interdisciplinary conference seeks to bring together contributions from those conducting research into areas of enquiry linked in a variety of ways
to The Senses. It has the allied ambition of stimulating cross-disciplinary debate. It is hoped that the publication of a selection of those papers aired at the conference will follow.
It is anticipated that the conference will include participants working in the areas of Cultural Studies, Critical Theory, Literary Studies, Musicology, Media Studies, Philosophy (including the philosophy of science), Psychoanalytic Theory, Visual Cultures and Art History.
