There is one built into the Nero 8 wave editor. You just need to find your own Impulse files. |

BTW..
Slamming one reverb on top of a full virtual orchestra is usually what people do, but it also sounds rather gloriously crappy.
Consider that an orchestra ( or a smaller ensemble for that sake ) is spread out on the stage. Even though that the main point is not to make it sound realistic, but "good" and hopefully convincing.. paying some attention to how we actually hear the noise of an orchestra is what I call a good thing. - In the same league as the single malts actually..
So.. in order to make the reverb sound good, please consider processing each instrument group or even each instrument.
Convolution reverb is excellent, but you might want to do some hard thinking re how to actually use it in a way that makes sense to you. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

Right I would do it on a track by track basis for a final mix for sure.
Actually at this point it's for an ambience system for the sound room. I still haven't decided how to handle the sound stage and want to experiment with ambiophonics first. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |

You can get loads of IRs from Noisevault.com
A cheap convolution is Voxengo's Pristine space... $120. If that's too rich there's another free one called Red State Sound RevolVerb Lite.
It is supposed to be latency free whereas with SIR your host sequencer has to have automatic delay compensation or you have to manually compensate for delay. _________________ www.myspace.com/grizzlemusic |

Thanks looks interesting.
While poking aruond for that I found some more here
http://www.softplatz.com/software/reverb/
Problem is I need at least 8 channels. May wait till I upgrade the puter to a mulit core to see how they or multiple instances of them run. _________________ The question is not whether they can talk or reason, but whether they can suffer. -- Jeremy Bentham |
