I'm working on a live ensemble for Reaktor, and I really like the things I hear coming out of MachineDrums (though I never tried one). Anyone have any ideas or is working on something similar?

I'm sort of just starting out with Reaktor, so maybe this is a bit of an undertaking but I've been working on this for a little while and I just keep getting more and more ideas and want more features...

I still don't get the whole stacked macros thing, but it would be really useful for me to figure it out as I really want to keep the screen very clean but with a LOT of features at hand... So I'd like to do something where you can select an instrument and pick different kinds of synthesis to use (sample, fm, subtractive/additive , etc...) and that would open show a different stacked macro depending... I dunno if maybe that's just way too much demand on the processor to have like 6 to 8 of these things open, along with really in-depth sequencers for each, a mod matrix, etc... I guess I'll find out...

Anyway, if anyone could pass along any advice or material or maybe share what they were working on, it would be much appreciated.

In particular, anything pertaining to stacked macros, midi, creating a randomizing feature for sequences (that is included on the actual panel and not just the snapshot window), using midi to change snapshots, and if anyone has any advice on processor saving tips, any of those items would be a HUGE help.

Take a look at this ensemble:

Terminal Glitch 2 v1.1

This could lead you into a decent direction.
