another usb issue

hello everyone, i'm new to the forum. i have a used g2 that i bought about 4 months ago. it was working great, even under the vista workaround of updating driver before use. But last night after i used it in midi with my electribe drum machine, windows would just not recognize my usb from the g2. it would not even say unknown driver or have any change. I tried the different wires and even powered hubs, i tried different pcs, i turned usb sending off, but it didn't change. i'm thinking it might be a messed up nord usb hub. i emailed clavia last night, but haven't got anything back yet. I know similar topics have been posted but i think this is more of a midi/usb issue. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

There have been reports about G2s having to be repaired for USB problems. Looking at your location I think you should first try to contact NordUsa / Armadillo : http://www.nordusa.com/
