Infiltrator Skin Subject description: Midi Control? |
 |
|
Hi Are,
I have been playing with your Infiltrator skin and am pretty impressed.
Is it possible to control parameters via midi?
Cheers

Andy,
Never tried it myself, but according to the user guide, page 43 (http://www.chameleon.synth.net/files/infiltrator/Infiltrator_v1.0.pdf) you can define your own global and 'patch' midi controllers.
Kinda neat.

Hey Paul,
Thanks.
I must have missed that on my quick perusal of the manual, now for a proper look...
Cheers

Andy,
Of course, there's someone here who can answer this MUCH better than I.... Are you around?

Looking through the manual there are various ways of controlling things via midi, what I am really after is controlling the RTCs with midi, haven't quite found that yet.
Are must have spent a fair amount of time on this skin, it is very comprehensive.
I love some of the resonator type sounds you can get out of it, very nice. |

Yes, the Infiltrator skin is excellent. I used it as a filter bank combined with two analog compressors for some of the obviously resonant sounds on the mid section of "Funeral Pyre Berlin". _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

I must admit I haven't tried many of the skins, any other favorites? |

The MonoWave is absolutely decent. THe Australis is also nice, but I haven´t really yet managed to use much more than Are´s brilliant skin and the MonoWave. Whenever I start to consider to play around with other skins I suddenly end up recording something and suddelny I´ll be back to the Infiltrator and the MonoWave. I should get out more.. kinda.. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"
