logarithmic pots the same as "audio" pots???

i need to find a 1m log pot for a glide...but they only seem to carry AUDIO or Linear

as i understand it the human hearing works that way. if you are using a log potentiometer for volume control your mind says: hey, this is a constant (=linear) increase of volume!

Those born with anti-log hearing response were naturally selected out of the gene pool around the time the sabre tooth tiger population peaked.

Laughing and later when the cars came into the cities ... I think we're going to see dB laws BTW for electric cars ... they seem to be lethally silent.

i read one that you make turn a regular pot into a log pot by attaching some resistors to it, your gonna have to do some research

Yeah - manufacturers will be required to build in "comfort noise" generators. Laughing
