That movie perfectly encapsulates and portrays the feelings of self-doubt, alienation, disenchantment and unwanted pressures and expectations for a twenty-something just out of college.

I was a freshman at Berkeley at the time. I knew virtually every place including the hiways they used for locations. I thought it was about me - at least for a while.

This movie was actually one of those movies that has an observable impact on culture. Simon and Garfunkle got a big career boost from this film.
